Blue Eye FX Productions was responsible for the underwater filming required for Discovery Channel's When Rome Ruled Egypt. A road trip ensued that saw the team south of Marsa Alam, next to the boarder of Sudan. The challenges for the team included locating a Roman wreck from 31BC based solely on GPS markings!

With the location set, the camera crew leapt into the water. Following just  40 minutes in the water, the divers discovered amphoras (a type of ceramic vase with two handles and a long neck narrower than the body) covered with coral, which led them led to what could have possibly be the remains of the Roman wreck.
